Terms & Conditions for Melanie Sharp Photography (MSP)

Limited Editions: Limited Edition prints are hand-signed, individually numbered, and strictly capped. Once sold out, the edition will not be repeated or extended in that size and format and will never be reprinted. The artist retains one copy for her archive, exhibition, or press use. Select works may appear in curated publications or galleries, but the original edition remains closed. Alternate formats (e.g. books, print or editorial use) may be created in future.

Open Editions: Prints are not signed or numbered and may be reproduced.

Printing: All prints are produced by trusted, nationally recognised professional labs, and where applicable, mounted as described. Open Prints will be sent directly from the printer. If more than one print is ordered to be sent to different addresses – extra postage maybe required.

Product Descriptions: All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. Please note: Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitor calibration. The layout or crop of an image may vary slightly depending on the print size selected, to preserve artistic composition and integrity.

Copyright: All images on this site and all prints sold remain the intellectual property of Melanie Sharp. No reproduction, scanning, copying, or digital sharing of any print or image is permitted without prior written consent. The purchase of a physical print grants the buyer the right to display the artwork at the purchased location, including in private or commercial premises (such as hotels, offices, or galleries). This purchase does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, publish, or use the image for marketing, advertising, digital platforms, editorial, or promotional purposes, whether in print or online. Any commercial, editorial, or promotional use of the image requires a separate written licence from Melanie Sharp Photography. Unauthorised reproduction or usage will be pursued under UK copyright law and may result in legal action. Order Confirmation: You’ll receive confirmation of your order via email. Returns & Refunds: Faulty or damaged goods must be reported to MSP within 7 days following the day of delivery. A full refund or exchange will be issued upon return of the item, subject to final assessment by MSP. Where the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged, all reasonable return costs will be refunded (up to £5.65 with proof of postage cost). For returns due to change of mind or items no longer required, all original packaging and any Certificates of Authenticity (where applicable) must be included. Refunds or exchanges may be withheld if goods are damaged upon return due to inadequate packaging, which remains the sender’s responsibility. Proof of damage (photographic evidence) must be provided prior to return. Items must not be returned without prior communication. Refunds will only be processed once the returned item is received and assessed. Damage incurred during return transit is not the responsibility of MSP and may void the refund. Use of original packaging is strongly advised. For Limited Editions, the Certificate of Authenticity must be returned with the print; no refund will be given without it. In accordance with UK Trading Standards, eligible refunds will be processed within 15 days of receipt of the returned item unless the return is disputed. All decisions made by MSP are final and enforceable under UK law.

Cancellations: Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, unless production has already begun. In which case you may be charged the production price and any costs incurred.

Purchasing Off Site: Prints or items sold in person by Melanie Sharp Photography, bought from outlets, shops or websites other than this one are subject to the rules governing those outlets (and retail selling law), iaw trading standards and individual company rules. The original purchase source must be contacted by the buyer for matters relating to any purchase undertaken outside of this site. Melanie Sharp Photography accepts no responsibility for products, service or company policies of other retail outlets supplying Melanie Sharp Photography goods.

Digital Download Terms of Use: By downloading any free or purchased wallpaper from Melanie Sharp Photography, you agree to the following: Personal Use Only — Images are for use as mobile phone wallpapers. They may not be used for desktop backgrounds, printed, or shared publicly. No Reproduction or Redistribution — You may not resell, reproduce, edit, or distribute the image in any form.  Non-Commercial License — These files may not be used in any commercial, editorial, advertising, or promotional setting, including social media branding. One-Time Use — Your coupon allows you to download one wallpaper. Each subscriber is entitled to one free download. No Refunds — As this is a digital product, I am unable to offer refunds. Please contact me before completing checkout if you experience any issues applying your code.All images remain the property of Melanie Sharp Photography. Copyright is not transferred upon download. Liability: Melanie Sharp Photography accepts no responsibility for production delays, courier or third party company policies.

Privacy: Your personal data will never be shared, sold, or used for anything other than fulfilling your order or email subscription (if you’ve opted in).

Risk: Goods remain the property of MSP until fully paid for, however the risk of the goods passes to the purchaser on dispatch.

Payments: Prices are listed in GBP(£). MSP offer payment via third party banking solutions, including PayPal & Stripe. We will never receive your bank details. If using PayPal, please make sure that your address is current and where you wish the item(s) sent. We cannot redeliver an item if the address provided is incorrect.

Terms: Placement of an order is deemed as acceptance of these terms. Your statutory rights are not affected within British trading laws.

Working Hours are deemed to be Office Hours IAW trading Standards. MSP will not ship items or answer queries on Bank Holidays, weekends or over the Christmas break. Delays in shipping or replying to emails may happen when I am away at a Workshop, private shoot or attending an event.

Use of Images as Artistic Reference: Melanie Sharp Photography welcomes and appreciates artistic inspiration drawn from her work. However, all images remain the intellectual property of Melanie Sharp and are protected under copyright law. Use of any image or print as reference material is permitted only with prior written permission — whether for personal or commercial use. This includes artwork created solely for private enjoyment. Permission must always be sought in advance so that appropriate terms can be agreed and usage tracked. Strictly for private, non-commercial use, artwork may be created for personal practice or home display only. Under no circumstances may any derivative or inspired work be sold, licensed, exhibited, promoted, published, or reproduced in any format (including digital or physical) without a separate licence. If a permitted non-commercial piece is shared publicly (e.g. on social media), crediting Melanie Sharp Photography as the original source of inspiration is expected and appreciated. Any unauthorised use — especially for commercial purposes, competition entry, fundraising, or promotional activity — will be pursued under UK copyright law and may result in legal action.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website and are in accordance with UK consumer law.
