FAQs – Questions & Queries

📮 Who do you use for delivery?

For UK orders: Royal Mail Tracked or courier, depending on the size.

For international orders: Tracked services via Royal Mail International in partnership with the local mail service (La Poste, USPS, etc) or courier (DHL, Parcelforce, etc). You’ll get tracking info once it’s on the way.

📦 Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship worldwide. Postage is calculated at checkout before final confirmation. All posatge charges can be found on our Shipping Page.

💵 Will I be charged extra tax or duties for international orders?

You may be charged extra tax or duties by the destination countries customs office. The fees are calculated based on delivery address – not who placed the order – and must be paid by the recipient. Unfortunately I cannot predict or cover these charges

⏳ How long will my order take?

UK orders are usually dispatched & delivered within 3 –7 business days but may vary due to local delivery practices. International orders may take a little longer depending on location and customs clearance. If you need something urgently, drop me a message before ordering.

💸 Can I return a print?

If your print arrives damaged, let me know within 7 days with a photo — I’ll sort it.

Changed your mind? That’s fine too. Just return it safely with all packaging and your Certificate of Authenticity (if included). Return postage is at your expense, and refunds are issued once the item is safely back.

🖼️ Do the prints come framed?

No — to keep shipping safe and costs down, prints are not mounted or framed. That way, you can choose a frame that suits your space.

🧾 Are your limited editions really limited?

Yes. Each limited edition is hand-signed, numbered, and capped at 25 copies or as stated on the edition. I keep one artist’s copy, and one or two may be used for press or gallery use — but that’s it. Once sold out, that edition is not reprinted in that format.

🎁 Do you offer gift wrapping or notes?

Not yet — but if you’re sending a gift and want to include a note, please add a message to your ‘notes’ at checkout or contact me here.  I’ll do my best to help.

✏️ Can I use your photos as inspiration for my own art?

Please ask first — even for personal use. I’m often happy to say yes for non-commercial work, but I do ask that you credit me if you post it online. Commercial use (including promotion, sale, or fundraising) is not permitted without written permission or licensing.

🎨 Can I commission a custom piece or book a shoot?

Yes! I’m available for a limited number of private commissions, collaborative shoots, and zoo or wildlife photography sessions. If you’ve got a project in mind — especially involving the Camargue, animals, or storytelling — I’d love to hear about it. Use the contact form and let’s talk.

📸 Do you offer critiques or 1:1 sessions?

Yes. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your portfolio, I offer friendly, constructive critiques and 1-to-1 mentoring. These can cover anything from camera settings to storytelling, post-processing, or preparing for competitions. Get in touch to book a slot. Message me for rates.

🐴 Can I buy the Camargue horses / flamingos / cattle print I saw on Instagram?

Quite possibly, yes! If you spotted something you loved but can’t find it for sale, just get in touch — I might have a copy available or something similar coming soon.

🌍 Where are you based?

I’m in North Wales, UK — but i’m often found knee deep in a marsh in the Camargue, South of France.

📧 How can I contact you if I have a question?

Pop over to the Contact Page, I usually respond within 48 hours unless I’m in a marsh with flamingos, in which case… give me a moment.

🐾 Do you name the animals in your garden?

Absolutely! There’s Gaston, the French red-legged partridge, who struts up and down the drive like he owns the place — and Arfur the hare (born in the garden this year!) who likes to sprawl out in the middle of the lawn, sunbathing like he’s posing for a French artist. Then there’s Vinny – our security, self appointed protector and all-round thug. He is of course a robin and he rules the roost!
